Virginia “Gina” C. Gina was appointed Signet CEO in July 2017 and served as a director of Signet’s Board since 2012. She is also on the Board of Directors of American Financial Group (NYSE: AFG), an insurance and investments company.

Gina has more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in the consumer goods, beauty and healthcare industries, as well as retail.  She continues to be at the forefront of innovating mass market e-commerce retail, while globalizing and reinventing product categories, to increase sales and profits of brands recognized worldwide.

Before becoming Signet’s CEO, she served as President & CEO of Assurex Health, where she delivered significant revenue growth and executed the strategic sale of the Company to Myriad Genetics. Prior to Assurex Health, Gina spent 25 years at The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG), where she held positions of increasing responsibility. She established herself as a thought leader in beauty and mass brand retailing.  As P&G Group President, Global Beauty Care, she led a $6+ billion business unit with a portfolio of more than 20 brands, each operated as its own business, over 6,000 employees and 22 manufacturing sites.

Gina has long supported purpose-driven organizations, including her role on the Board of Back2Back Ministries, an international non-profit organization that cares for orphans and vulnerable children. Gina was also on the Board of Directors of Cosmetic Executive Women, the beauty industry's leading non-profit organization, and served as Chair of the Foundation board where she helped substantially increase the organization’s Cancer and Careers program reach and funding.

The award-winning CEO has been recognized for industry leadership based on results and her community contributions.  Among her recognitions are one of Fortune's 50 Most Powerful Women in Business (2010, 2011), EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year (2017), Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce's Woman of the Year (2017), Ohio Venture Exit of the Year (2016), the YWCA Career's Woman of Achievement (2008), and the Cosmetic Executive Women Achiever (2007).

Gina holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Terry School, University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
