The Akron Roundtable meets normally on the third Thursday of each month at the Quaker Station at Quaker Square Inn in Akron, Ohio. Speakers are requested to arrive by 11:00 am. A press conference is held at 11:30am.

Lunch is served at Noon and the speaker begins speaking promptly at 12:30pm after having been introduced by a designated Roundtable board member or other distinguish community leader.

Speakers are encouraged to speak for approximately 25 minutes to be followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. Questions from the audience are written on cards and presented to the head table where they are sorted and given to the speaker.

Roundtable, which attracts between 300 and 450 luncheon guests, adjourns promptly at 1:15pm. Programs are broadcast at 7 p.m. that evening on NPR's WKSU-89.7-FM
